Like a standard cutting shear, this a 50/50 cutting shear. This means the Shinzo Aire II can be utilized for both wet and dry hair with ease. The thin blade and metal type does give it a special advantage to precision cutting beyond other blades. The flat screw design is completely recessed, simple and sleek, so no tension system piece gets in the way of the comb, hair, or line of sight.
